Miami, FL – Rational Enterprise, an emerging leader in eDiscovery and Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) software, announced today that it will be leading one of the seven roundtables at the 26th Annual General Counsel Conference on June 4, 2014.
Rational’s Chief Technology Officer and table moderator for the event, Mark Gianturco, will focus on the topic of managing unstructured data across the enterprise to enhance compliance, security, litigation readiness, and big data analytics. This is one of seven forums at the conference “designed to provoke thought and spark real-time take-away ideas in connection with specific topics facing in-house and general counsels.”
Gianturco’s discussion will address the troubling problem of how organizations manage their electronic data and conduct their discovery processes given the nature and volume of information proliferation. “Many companies attempt to reduce business risk by employing various fragmented and short-lived technologies and services that only create additional risks, impart huge hidden costs, and miss the opportunity unlock the value trapped inside the data they create and store,” says Gianturco.
During the roundtable, Gianturco will challenge the way the nation’s top GCs currently think about information management and present Rational’s experience developing a single software solution for: gaining visibility into and control over all corporate data in place; searching, reviewing, and producing discovered data; and automatically analyzing, classifying, and understanding data via advanced machine-learning technology.
The 26th Annual General Counsel Conference will be held at the Marriot Marquis in New York City, June 4 through June 5, 2014.
